Nuit Organic Cotton Set is a pyjama made in 100% organic cotton made with traditional Indian block prints. The pyjama is featuring a comfortable and regular fit shirt with long sleeves. The shirt is made with buttoned front and a small collar with rounded edges and contrast colored piping along collar edge and placket front.
The pants are made in a comfortable regular fit with elastic inside the waistband. The pyjama is offered as a set and is available in two sizes.
This item is made with handmade block print which is a traditional craft technique in India. Wooden blocks are being carved by hand and used as stamps. The blocks, made from wood such as teak, sycamore and pear, are hand-carved in a myriad of intricate designs. The blocks are dipped in color and hand pressed onto the fabric. This process is repeated until the length of the fabric is complete. Precision is demanded by the Indian artisans to ensure a perfect finish. There are no machines involved in this printing technique, only human hands, which creates tiny variations and imperfections, which is the charm and uniqueness of this process.
